Gartner Hotel - Budapest

The hotel is clean, with updated rooms and polite staff. the location is excellent, very close to an underground station. the breakfast is above average and amazing, featuring scrambled eggs and a bakery.

No complaints whatsoever, I recommend this hotel and can't wait to come back. The venue is pleasant, clean and the location is great just off bars, public restaurants and clubs and Close to train stations. Make sure to get twin room with a toaster, A/C plus comfortable beds. The employees are really kind and cordial.

room was quite complete and had all the amenities, comfortable beds, perfect air conditioning and good views from the window. place is well located, people working at the reception are friendly, speak English.

An event that altered our stay was that they were unable to control a group of 18-year-old Italians who did not let us sleep for two days, shouting in the corridors and making a lot of noise. They must have taken more care of their clients in that sense, since we complained several times in the early morning and they did almost nothing to help. They only told us that they were leaving the next day. Another thing that I don't see logic, is that they make you pay for some white towels because they were stained with traces of makeup, don't they wash the towels with bleach? Aren't the towels for cleaning your face?... Anyway, that's the thing about low-cost travel.

The services and staff here were excellent, and overall, it was a good value for the money.

nice, cosy hotel, 15 minutes far from town center, 5 minutes from metro station. good breakfast, kind personnel. also has air conditioning and refrigerator with minibar, of course :) relatively cheap parking just near the hotel

I didn't like that from 4 reservations confirmed by Booked.net (I, myself, booked 4 rooms for me and 3 other families) the hotel personnel said they didn't knew about 2 of them, so my friends were forced to go to another hotel nearby...

Well located , friendly helpful staff, our room was quiet, spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast not varied but ok. Good value at this price.

This place is conveniently located near great restaurants and top attractions, with Tuning Bar&burger just a short walk away for delicious drinks.

Not sure of hotel location as I arrived at 10:45 pm and left at 6:45 am, by taxi in both cases. Upon arriving was told breakfast starts at 7am and I mentioned that I leave at 6:45 and would miss breakfast. 2W0 minutes later while in my room got a call from desk saying I could come to breakfast at 6:45am.....now how special was that.....room was very basic....but so was price.

Room smelled of cigarette smoke when I wanted to ventilate, the street was very noisy and could not sleep.

The hotel has a great location, very close to buses and the metro. The twin room is perfect, with climate control and a high ceiling.- Private bathroom is clean.

There was a good free internet connection.

I was hardly able to sleep the first night because of very loud rock music coming from just behind my room. This continued until after 2am and there was then quieter music until after 5 am. I changed the following day to a quieter room, but the first night was totally unacceptable.The safe didn't work in either room to begin with because the batteries needed changing, and the sink plug was missing in the 2nd room. Maintenance is obviously poor.

We had a very pleasant experience.the staff was nice & accomodating to our religious needs!! And otherwise too!!! I would reccomend it to all my friends & family!!!
